Cannery Schedule
Listed below are our ward's scheduled cannery dates for 2009:

*Each of the scheduled dates is a Saturday 1:00 PM session. The session typically lasts for 3-4 hours.
Members who wish to participate should download a form, fill it out and email the filled out form to Carey Jacobson at least one week prior to the session.
The Home Storage Center doesn't allow young children to be present for safety reasons and no open-toed shoes are allowed.

Cookie Exchange/Lunch Bunch
Wednesday the 17th is the Cookie Exchange/Lunch Bunch at Maria Edgington's home.
Please bring a potluck lunch item and 2 dozen of any kind of holiday treat. We'll eat, visit and go home with lots of fun goodies! See you there!

Friday evening was the ward Christmas party! We all had a great time! A big THANK YOU to Sister Savage and her family and all others that worked so hard at making this party a success! Santa made a special guest appearance and was a big hit with the kiddos!

Hello Sisters,
It's time for another meeting of the Healthy Lifestyle Group (you are all members!). We will meet next Tuesday, Dec. 9th. This is a time to reward yourself or recommit to your healthy lifestyle goals. Would you like to do a luncheon, shopping or maybe a spa night? Elder Joseph B. Worthlin Passed Away
Joseph B. Wirthlin, Oldest Apostle, Dies, Age 91
SALT LAKE CITY 2 December 2008 Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin, the oldest living apostle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, died last night, age 91.
Elder Wirthlin had gone to bed at his Salt Lake City home, and died peacefully at about 11:30 pm of causes incident to age. His oldest daughter, Jane Wirthlin Parker, was present. A member of the family had been staying and caring for Elder Wirthlin, whose wife, Elisa Young Rogers Wirthlin, died in 2006.
He had continued to work at his office right up until the Thanksgiving holiday.
Funeral arrangements will be announced.
