Elder Christopherson encouraged us to establish Zion in our homes, wards, and stakes by doing the following:
- Become unified in one heart and one mind
- Become, individually and collectively, a holy people
- To care for the the poor and needy with such effectiveness that we eliminate poverty from among us
He states: "We cannot wait for until Zion comes for these things to happen - Zion will come only as they happen." (Emphasis added)
